Meredith Canterbury, O.D.

Dr. Meredith Canterbury is a Chapel Hill native and graduate of Meredith College where she majored in biology health science with minors in chemistry and mathematics. While attending college, she enjoyed working as an optometric technician. Dr. Canterbury then moved on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry. She also completed internships at Vision America and WG Hefner VAMC in Salisbury, NC. Dr. Canterbury began private practice in the western part of the state and after several years, she returned to the triangle area where she continued to focus on providing quality eye health management for patients of all ages. She specializes in contact lens fittings and disease management, as well as providing co-management for LASIK and cataract patients. Dr. Canterbury lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Steven and two active boys, Parker and Davis. She enjoys golf, baking, travel, and cheering for the Tarheels.
